Oxbow National Honor Society Donates $2500 To Hurricane Relief

Oxbow High School’s chapter of the National Honor Society has just wrapped up its annual back-to-school fundraiser by donating all $2500 of the money it raised to hurricane relief. Five hundred dollars went to provide homeless and hungry students in a Houston school with free lunches, and $2000 went to help provide Puerto Rico with medical supplies, clean water, and food.

Oxbow’s Chapter of NHS would like to thank all the local businesses that donated items to be raffled off, and all the individuals who supported our fundraiser by buying tickets. All the money that was raised went directly to hurricane victims through Go Fund Me sites or else through the Growing Peace Project of Topsham, Vermont. Thanks for making our annual fundraiser the most successful in years, and please support our efforts to raise money for the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth when we participate in CHAD Hero later this month.
