A note from the Oxbow NHS!
On October 16th, the National Honors Society chapter at Oxbow High School took part in the CHad Hero event. CHaD is an annual event hosted every year by Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center to raise money for the families with sick children. This year the majority of the members ran the 5k course, one of our advisors, Mr. Madan, ran the half marathon and a few others walked the 5k. Everyone raised a minimum of $75 for event, our chapter donated over $1000. This is an event our chapter looks forward to every year, there’s so much energy and everyone has so much fun. It’s a common thing to see Oxbow students holding hands crossing the finish line. We will be back next year again to support CHaD!
