Both Varsity Softball and Baseball get the W

In a very close contest the varsity baseball team defeated Montpelier 3-2.  Sophomore Jace Page batted in the winning run, while Orin Mahikoa had 6 good innings on the mound with 11 strike outs.  Cody Grant came into the game in the 7th to get the save.

 

The varsity softball team had a convincing win over Richford (17-0).  Madie Fornwalt went the distance on the mound, throwing a no-hitter with 12 strike outs and one walk.

Both teams are at home today versus Lake Region, game time at 4:30.

Baseball team comes out victorious!

The baseball team got a big victory over Randolph yesterday.

Softball took their second loss of the season falling 3-1 to Randolph.

Oxbow had a good day at the Dirt Classic at Spaulding High School on Tuesday, 5/9.

Calvin Cook finished 1st in the discus and shot put

Tim Hodges finished 1st in the high jump and triple jump

Jarrett Rock finished 1st in the long jump

Kelly Daigle finished 1st in Discus

Time change for varsity baseball and softball

Thursday’s (5/10) softball and baseball games will be played at 4 PM instead of 4:30.

Oxbow Softball gets recognized at the State House

The Oxbow softball team traveled to the Capitol to be recognized for their 2017 undefeated championship season.  

Varsity Baseball and Softball get wins over Thetford

The softball team defeated Thetford in 7 innings on Tuesday.  The softball team is now 5-1.

 

In dramatic fashion the baseball team came from a 4 run deficit to tie the game in the 7th and then went on to score 4 more runs in 8th to secure the win.

Games Canceled This Saturday (5/12)

The baseball and softball varsity games on Saturday have been canceled due to funeral services for Tyler Curtis.  Tyler’s service will be held at BMU at 11 AM. The Oxbow community sends our deepest sympathy to Tyler’s family and  the BMU school community.
