The annual Oxbow High School Homecoming is Friday, September 22. Beginning at 2:45 pm in front of the Mona Garone Gymnasium, activities will include face painting, t-shirt decorating (t-shirts available for $10 or bring your own), a car smash (courtesy of McGoff’s Salvage in Orford, NH), and the National Guard is sponsoring a boxing ring with oversized gloves. The afternoon will be capped off at 4:00 when both the Boys and Girls Varsity Soccer squads will take on teams from Enosburg in simultaneous matches. After the games, stick around for delicious, free pizza and karaoke in the Auditorium.
The Homecoming Dance will take place from 7:00 – 10:00 p.m. in the school cafeteria. Admission is $6.00, and all proceeds will benefit the Oxbow Community Scholarship for Excellence. The evening will be topped off with the traditional bonfire on the lawn in front of the gymnasium.
Homecoming is sponsored by the Oxbow High School Student Council.
