Summer Mailing & 7-Up Day Information

Please be watching for the summer mailings starting the week of August 7th.

A note for the incoming 7th Grade: Due to unforeseen circumstances, your schedules will be handed out on 7-Up Day on August 21st. Please be looking for other information being sent out in the mail soon.

Girls Soccer meeting Monday June 19th at 6:00

 Oxbow will be able to offer another class as college credit. For those interested in getting CCV credit in Mr. Chobanian’s Crime class and didn’t get it in their schedule handed out this week, please see your school counselor to see if it can work in your schedule.

During exams the library is a no-talking area.  Please so not pass through, be respectful of those studying or taking their exams with para’s.

Attention XC runners and anyone who has been considering joining the amazing and talented Oxbow Cross-Country team!  We take all shapes and sizes, all levels of fitness and spunk! Please gather with the team and coaches on Thursday immediately after school in the Senior Well to find out what’s in store for the 2017 season this fall!  Middle school and High school students welcome!

There will be a meeting for all students enrolled in AP U.S. History next year Thursday, June 15th at 2:30 in Ms. Willems room.

Oxbow PTO is currently running a Shoe Drive between now and July 17th.  Please help them by donating all your new and gently worn shoes that you no longer have use for.  Clean out your closets and drop off your shoes at one of the following locations (till the end of school Oxbow’s main lobby, main hallway at Riverbend, Bradford Elementary School, Piermont Elementary School) until July 17th Bradford Public Library, Piermont Public Library and Saturday mornings on the BES front lawn from 8-10 (weather permitting). All sizes and styles welcome.  All proceeds go towards a new electronic sign for Oxbow.  Thank you for your on going support.

There will be a boy’s high school basketball meeting after school on Friday for approximately 10-15 minutes.

New Bus Routes Beginning 6/16

Due to the bridge construction on Route 25B, the bus stops for students in the following areas will be changed, beginning on June 16th:
 
Legion
Cobblestone Alley
High St.
South Pleasant St.
Maple St.
Route 25B
 
 
Temporary bus stops for students who usually get picked up and dropped off in these areas are:
 
1. At the end of South Pleasant and Goshen – 7:35 AM
2. At the intersection of Main St. and Bank St., next to Subway – between 7:35 – 7:45 (3 buses will stop here)
 
This change will be in effect until October 1, 2017.
