35% of Oxbow Students Earn 1st Q Honor Roll

First Quarter Honors Assembly Students and staff entertained as Oxbow celebrated academic achievement during a mid-day assembly on November 8th. Thirty-five percent of Oxbow students earned a place on the Honor Roll in the first quarter. Seven percent of students received all “A”s, earning Principal’s Honor Roll.

After six weeks of design, construction, testing, and modifying, Ms. Jones’ 8th Grade science students took the final version of their solar collectors out for a test. They’re waiting for the next bright, sunny day to give them their ultimate test: boiling water with the power of the sun.
